High Rise Remediation

Making homes safer

Restoring confidence in high-rise living, helping residents feel secure in the places they call home

With more than 40 years’ housing experience, BTP has built a strong reputation in high-rise remediation and building safety. Since the Grenfell tragedy, we have delivered over 60 facade remediation projects across the UK, acting both as Architects and Building Regulations Principal Designers.

We help building owners, developers, managing agents and contractors address complex fire-safety defects, remove combustible materials and bring existing residential buildings up to current standards. Our experience spans occupied tower blocks, mixed-use developments and technically challenging façades, with projects extending from Plymouth to Glasgow.

Our in-house team of five Building Regulations Principal Designers provides specialist leadership throughout the design and construction process. We support clients in navigating the Building Safety Act 2022, Building Regulations 2023 and Gateway requirements, coordinating design teams and maintaining the golden thread of building information.

By identifying and managing compliance risks from the outset, we help develop technically robust, buildable solutions and provide the clear evidence required by the Building Safety Regulator.

I’m an architect with specialist experience in housing and heritage projects, with a particular focus on fire safety and cladding remediation. I qualified in 2015 and joined BTP in 2017, following roles in Singapore and Sweden working on public buildings, BIM management and accessible design.

I am qualified as a Certified European Passive House Designer, a RIBA accredited Conservation Architect, and became one of the first Architects to be listed on the RIBA Principal Designer Register for Higher Risk Buildings (HRBs).

Outside work, I like to keep fit with running, hiking, weightlifting, skiing and rock climbing. Travel and adventure are a big part of my life, from completing the Inca Trail and climbing Kilimanjaro to running my first (and probably only) marathon on the Great Wall of China.

I joined BTP in June 2024, qualifying as an architect in April 2026. I previously worked at a large Manchester practice bringing experience in commercial developments, multi-storey car parks and high-rise residential projects.

My background includes designing homes to national space standards and accessibility requirements. At BTP, I enjoy combining technical detail with thoughtful design, with a particular interest in conservation, refurbishment and sustainability.

Outside work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, travelling, hiking, playing badminton and horse riding.

I am a qualified architect with experience in residential, conservation and refurbishment projects. I joined BTP in August 2025, bringing a strong technical background in specification and fabric-first retrofit from my previous role at a large commercial practice.

At BTP, I am excited to apply this technical knowledge to both new build and retrofit housing projects and high-rise remediaton, with a focus on improving home comfort, reducing fuel poverty and delivering thoughtful and sustainable design.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, as well as cooking, reading and running.
