A collaborative approach that puts people first, guiding you through every stage from concept to completion.

  • 01

    Client briefing

Every project starts with listening. We take time to understand your goals, budget, programme and priorities, involving the people who will use the space, so the brief reflects what really matters from day one.

  • 02

    Concept design

This is where ideas take shape. We explore design options, test layouts and develop a clear vision for the project. We balance creativity with practicality and planning considerations with commercial viability. Once the direction is set, we refine every detail. Drawings, materials and specifications come together into a clear, considered design that's ready to take forward.

  • 03

    Planning & Approvals

We guide each project through the approvals it needs with a proactive and informed approach. From the start of the project, we work closely with planning authorities, consultees and stakeholders to keep things moving and avoid surprises.

  • 04

    Technical Design

This is where the technical detail comes together. We coordinate the technical information, resolve challenges and secure Building Regulations approval, ensuring the project is buildable, compliant and ready for construction.

  • 05

    Construction

We work closely with the contractor and wider team throughout, to oversee quality and workmanship, resolve issues and keep the project true to the original vision.

  • 06

    Completion and Handover

We finish properly. From final inspections to post-completion support, we stay involved to ensure a smooth handover and make sure everything is delivered as intended.

Part of your team, every step of the way

We work as an extension of your team. Regular workshops, site visits, and progress meetings ensure transparency and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.

I joined BTP in September 2024 having graduating from the University of Huddersfield. My previous work with a conservation contractor gave me practical experience on site, including traditional lime mortar repairs at Little Moreton Hall.

Since joining BTP, I’ve worked on projects ranging from new-build housing to a major re-roofing scheme at the Grade II-listed Bootle Town Hall. I’m continuing to build my experience while studying part-time for my master’s degree at the University of Lincoln.

Outside of the office, I enjoy going to the gym, playing golf and padel, as well as listening to vinyls from my ever-growing collection.

I joined BTP Architects straight from University in mid-2023 as an Architectural Technician. Since then, I’ve developed my skills in Revit, project management and technical design, alongside a growing understanding of Building Regulations and industry guidance.

Having been thrust into many different projects, I’ve gained wide sector experience including large-scale retrofit, social housing and accommodation for people experiencing homelessness, refurbishment and luxury new-build homes. This experience has sparked a particular interest in site planning.

Outside work, I enjoy playing padel with colleagues, football and the occasional attempt at golf. I’m also a Liverpool FC supporter and like to unwind playing video games.
