Senior Architect/Job Runner

We are looking for an experienced architect to join our dynamic design team in Stockport, leading projects across housing, retrofit, high-rise remediation, judicial and conservation sectors.

The successful candidate will work across a diverse portfolio of projects, including housing, retrofit, high-rise remediation, judicial and conservation schemes, taking responsibility for projects from early design through to delivery.

This is a predominantly office-based role, offering the opportunity to lead projects through concept design, planning, Building Regulations, technical detailing, and specification stages. You will act as a key point of contact, coordinating with clients, consultants, and wider design teams, as well as attending meetings and undertaking site visits as required.

    Manage projects from early design to construction.

    Prepare and co-ordinate planning, building regulations and technical information.

    Strong focus on technical design, detailing and specifications.

    Liase confidently with clients, consultants, contractors and statutory bodies.

    Manage workloads, programmes and deadlines, effectively attending meetings and site visits.

  • The Ideal Candidate Will Have

    Strong concept and technical design skills.

    A proactive, self-motivated approach.

    Proven experience managing projects and meeting demanding deadlines.

    Autodesk Revit experience (training available).

    Higher Risk Building (HRB) experience is desirable.
