Part 1 Architectural Assistant

We are looking for an enthusiastic Part 1 Architectural Assistant to join our friendly design team in Stockport, supporting projects across housing, retrofit, high-rise remediation, judicial and conservation sectors.

This is an opportunity to build on your architectural studies, gain practical experience and develop your design and technical skills within an established, supportive practice.

This is a predominantly office-based role. Working alongside our architects and technologists, you will contribute to concept designs, planning applications, presentation materials and technical drawings. There will also be opportunities to attend project meetings and site visits, helping you develop an understanding of how projects progress from initial ideas through to construction.

    Assist with design development, drawings and project presentations.

    Support the preparation of planning applications and technical information.

    Produce 3D models and visualisations.

    Research materials, construction methods and site context.

    Work collaboratively with colleagues and the wider project team.

  • The Ideal Candidate will have

    A completed RIBA Part 1 recognised architectural qualification.

    Good design, presentation and communication skills.

    Familiarity with CAD, 3D modelling and visualisation software.

    A proactive approach, attention to detail and a willingness to learn.

    An interest in sustainable design and creating places that improve people’s lives.
