UKAS certification awarded to BTP

BTP has gained UKAS accreditation to the two standards, ISO9001 and ISO14001 after a recent audit by UKAS accredited ISOQAR.

The achievement of this standard recognises BTP’s established and robust business management system, demonstrating best practice when it comes to following process and procedures, as well as making a firm commitment to quality and environmental issues.

ISO9001 is an internationally recognised standard for quality management, ensuring that organisations have proven processes in place to meet customer requirements.  ISO 14001 is the internationally recognised standard for the environmental management of businesses. It prescribes controls for those activities that have an effect on the environment. These include the use of natural resources, handling and treatment of waste and energy consumption.

Colin Savage, Director said "As an architectural practice, we naturally place emphasis on quality and environmental control but gaining UKAS ISO certification takes us to the next level.  These accreditations have been awarded in recognition of the hard work and dedication of the entire BTP team and will prove instrumental in the delivery of quality assured projects for our clients and will assist the business in moving forward.”
