Stockport Masonic Guildhall to be restored to former glory

We are delighted to have secured full Planning Approval to restore the locally listed Stockport Masonic Guildhall back to its former glory.

The proposal, once it proceeds, will see the original 1869 part of the building restored whilst numerous extensions from the 1930's to 1970's will be demolished in the process.

A new build, contemporary extension will provide a meeting place and bar area to the Guildhall, enabling our client, the Stockport Freemasons, to provide additional facilities and services to the local and wider community.

Planning Approval was granted without any issues or revisions following consultation with the Area's Conservation Officer. This is a continuation of BTP's excellent track record of working with listed (and locally listed) buildings and obtaining consent for alterations and additional works.
