Project Team Welcomes Royal Visitors to DIY SOS Big Build in Manchester

We were delighted to meet Princes Harry and William on-site at DIY SOS Big Build in Newton Heath yesterday, when they came for a tour of the project which will transform dilapidated terraces into bespoke homes for army veterans.

The biggest DIY SOS Big Build in East Manchester to date is the result of a collaboration between Adactus Housing, Manchester City Council, BBC DIY SOS and veteran charities Haig Housing and Walking with the Wounded. The project team pictured below with Prince William and Prince Harry yesterday comprises BTP Architects, key contractors Kier, ISG, Wates, Wilmott-Dixon, Rowlinsons, Manchester City Council and surveyors Arcus plus supporting contractors and suppliers.
