BTP delivers five bespoke new homes for Trafford
February marked the completion of Williams Row, a £1.75m residential development on Chapel Road in the heart of leafy Sale.
We were delighted to deliver this notable project for Trafford Council. Named after composer John Williams, it is the first outright sale development of its type to be brought forward by the Council.
Built by contractor J Greenwood with engineering support from P&G Consulting, the development comprises five bespoke four-bedroom homes: four semi-detached and one detached.

To ensure the homes reflect the character and needs of the local community, we took a collaborative design approach: working closely with the team at Trafford Council, listening to feedback from residents, and coordinating with the contractor and sub-consultants through to completion. Our designs draw inspiration from the Claremont Centre and the area’s varied architecture, while responding sensitively to the surrounding housing.
Environmental performance and long-term affordability were key priorities. Each property includes an air source heat pump that adapts to household usage patterns to help reduce energy costs. Additional amenities include private driveways with two parking spaces per home, wall-mounted EV charging points, and private landscaped rear gardens.
