BTP delivers five affordable housing schemes in Wythenshawe

We were appointed by Wythenshawe Community Housing Group (including Garden City Homes) to design and deliver a programme of 72 new build two- and three bedroom houses and bungalows constructed over 5 sites as part of their Affordable Homes Guarantees Programme. The majority were small, challenging infill sites all containing issues with regards to planning. Taking 18 months to build, the homes were a mixture of affordable rent, market rent and shared ownership.

Our expertise in redeveloping problem sites ensured that we delivered innovative solutions and designed out issues within the neighbourhoods. We worked with two separate contractors Wiggett Construction and United Living on the project whilst delivering economies and maintaining consistency in the design and quality.

There has been a great response from client and residents. The units for sale are amongst the first to be delivered by Garden City Homes, WCHG’s new sales and marketing team for new homes for sale, shared ownership and market rent in Wythenshawe.
