Maria Moore
I have over 15 years of experience working in both medium-sized and multinational practices, with a proven track record in managing and delivering projects across various sectors while maintaining excellent relationships. My previous experience includes designing and delivering primary schools for the Department for Education, as well as larger commercial public contracts, which include libraries, listed town hall buildings, and projects in the transport and industrial sectors.
Later in my career, I shifted my focus to designing extensions and eventually transitioned into the residential sector, where I dedicated my passion to creating meaningful buildings. I have worked on a variety of residential projects, ranging from properties valued at £2,000 to £30 million, including new build housing, master planning, Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA), and high-rise apartment blocks. I enjoy the unique challenges each site presents, and I particularly love retrofitting older structures to breathe new life into them while utilising sustainable approaches to reduce their carbon footprint. Working at BTP allows me to contribute to social value that aligns with my personal ethos.
During the week, I release my energy by going to the gym or swimming, and I practice yoga to help me relax. On the weekends, I often escape to the countryside, particularly when I can go cycling!
