Director

Leanne Beirne

BA(Hons), M.Arch, RIBA, ARB

I qualified as an Architect in 2015 and joined BTP in April 2017. I returned to the North West after over 3 years working in Singapore, where I focused on public projects including education and community centres, and received a qualification in BIM Management through the Singapore BCA.

I have also worked in Gothenburg, Sweden, where I specialised in universal design, upgrading existing buildings to make them accessible to the visually impaired.

During the past 6+ years I have gained in-depth knowledge of design and building regulations criteria for housing and heritage projects with a focus on fire safety. I have qualified as a Certified European Passive House Designer, and am currently working towards becoming a RIBA accredited Conservation Architect.

Outside of work, I like to keep fit with running, hiking, weightlifting, skiing and rock climbing. I travel as much as I can, my most recent personal achievement summiting Mt. Kilimanjaro and before that, completing my first (and probably only!) marathon on the Great Wall of China.
